Do you have a passion for computer science, cybersecurity and programming? We are recruiting a Teacher of Computer Science & ICT to join our path-finding department in a full or part-time, permanent post from 1 September 2021.
Our Computer Science Department has gained national status for its ‘Cyber Schools Hub’ work, which has led to significant investment and also a prominent partnership with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), as well as other global partners.
Cleeve School has been appointed by NCSC as a ‘CyberFirst Gold School’, and as a result we are seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science teacher to join our team. As well as being a competent programmer, our ideal candidate will seek to build their cybersecurity knowledge and play a major part in developing new and exciting methods of teaching Computer Science, including within exciting partnerships with external organisations, who will help to shape your very exciting career opportunities.
Cleeve School has benefitted from a huge investment in its innovative ‘Cyber Lab’, with multiple Apple, Windows and Android tools, and all department staff have access to hardware rarely seen in schools.

The successful candidate should be able to teach Computer Science (and ICT) at KS3, KS4 and KS5. An ability to teach BTEC IT at Level 3 would be an advantage.
