Role: Teacher of Computer Science and ICT
Salary: MSP + SEN (min) or SEN (max) for QTVI
New College Worcester is a nationally regarded non-maintained residential special school, devoted to the education of children and young people with a vision impairment aged 11 – 19.
We are keen to recruit the right candidate to work at NCW and are willing to consider applications for either a full time or part time appointment – 0.6 FTE and above.

Technology is life changing for young people with sight loss and we are expanding our staffing in this invaluable area of the curriculum. We are keen to appoint someone with the teaching expertise and passion for inclusive education that our students rightly deserve. Experience of teaching students with a vision impairment is not a requirement of the post as the College is primarily interested in appointing a talented and committed teacher who will train to become a qualified teacher of the vision impaired (QTVI) and be pro-active in learning how children and young people with a vision impairment use technology. The salary increases to the maximum SEN allowance once qualified as a teacher of the Vision Impaired (QTVI).
