We are looking for a part-time Teacher to join our Adult English & Maths teaching team at the Joseph Wright Centre.
You will be a dedicated and motivated professional ready to provide an innovative, dynamic and responsive delivery of adult community courses.
You will have experience in embedding functional English in courses such as: Family Learning, Parenting Skills, Healthy Living and Crafts to adult learners in a community setting. You will be responsible for planning schemes of work and lessons, setting and marking assignments, keeping learner portfolios up to date and entering learner data on our administrative system. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team, are also essential in this role.
In addition, candidates will also need a teaching qualification, and have achieved a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English.
