Founded in 1906, Leicester High School provides education in our Junior Department of approximately 115 girls aged 3 – 9 years and our Senior School of approximately 250 girls aged 10-18 years.
Our small size means everyone is someone at LHS and we pride ourselves on our family fee and excellent academic education. We specialise in bringing out the very best in girls aged 3 to 18 and our School philosophy of Education, Confidence and Opportunity is key to all we do, from our Early Years to our outstanding Sixth Form.
All LHS staff contribute towards the goal of providing a supportive, challenging and fun environment which enables our girls to achieve their potential.
You will be part of a strong team of modern language colleagues who teach French and Spanish across the age and ability range throughout the School. Your passion for your subject will be clear to the students and you will have an ability to build, develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all students, parents and colleagues alike.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and thriving School. Here, everyone is encouraged to become fully involved with School life. We offer a dynamic working environment, with talented and hard-working students. Our examination results are excellent and French and Spanish are offered at both GCSE and A Level and are popular option subjects.
