As the centre enters an exciting period of growth and development, it is looking for talented individuals who are passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people.
We are looking for a Teacher of Geography to join us on fixed-term contract until June 2021. This role can be part-time or full-time, if you are able to offer a second subject. The ability to teach a second subject would be desirable as we are always looking for individuals who can share their knowledge and experience across the college, with both colleagues and students.
As part of this role you will deliver specific programmes in line with the college’s aims and objectives for this area’s curriculum plan. You will work closely with management, colleagues and students to ensure success for both college and students. You will display energy, commitment, ability, and a willingness to achieve best results. They are all positive attributes we require in supporting students within our college.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in Geography to help shape the future of Cadbury College. Not only will you be leading tutorship on the course and sharing your experience and knowledge but you always be creating opportunities for students, including work experience. You will be motivated and have great interpersonal skills and an ability to engage, motivate and support mixed ability learners.
An academic background in Geography would be preferred, along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). You will also ideally hold excellent knowledge of the UK Geography Curriculum. You will be a dedicated and motivated professional, providing outstanding teaching and learning with a love for field work.
The ability to teach a second subject would be desirable as we are always looking for individuals who can share their knowledge and experience across the college, with both colleagues and students.
