Situated in 23 acres of leafy grounds, Queen Mary’s College is an inclusive, vibrant and high achieving sixth form college with a fantastic reputation both locally and nationally. Value added data places us in the top 10% of all A- level providers.
Health and Social Care is one of the largest vocational areas in the college and has notable success in attracting and retaining students. The team are committed to high quality teaching and learning and are encouraged to experiment with different ways for students to produce evidence for their portfolio work. Pass, completion and ALPS are excellent. The teaching team has a reputation for being extremely supportive to students and staff alike. Staff work closely together to share good practice and plan schemes of work and resources.
We currently offer courses from the OCR RQF specifications including Level 2 Health and Social Care, and L3 Double and single diplomas in Health and Social Care. We also teach a Level 3 BTEC single diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development
