Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service is seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative qualified teacher to establish & lead a new Welsh medium Learning Support Class for pupils with significant additional learning needs based at Ysgol Garth Olwg from January 2023. The successful applicant will
.
• Be a qualified teacher
• Have undertaken or be willing to undertake relevant specialist professional development
• Have experience teaching within an Additional Learning Needs/ Inclusion setting either in a secondary or upper KS2 setting.
• Have pupil wellbeing at the centre of everything you do
• Be passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
• Have excellent classroom practice,
• Provide a differentiated, balanced, progressive, varied and stimulating curriculum in line with statutory and school requirements while taking into account each pupil’s additional learning needs.
• You will be dedicated to ensuring all of our children achieve their very best
The class will support up to 14 pupils and is staffed by a teacher and two Learning Support Assistants.
