Teacher of KS2 Learning Support Class (Communication Disorder) based at Porth Community School
MPS plus SEN Allowance £2,149 per annum
Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced teacher for the Learning Support Class for pupils with communication disorder based at Porth Community School from January 2020.
This is an exciting opportunity to establish a new specialist provision within the school. The class will support 8 to 10 students from Years 3-6 and will be staffed by a teacher and two Learning Support Assistants.
Ideally, successful applicants will have experience of working with pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and will have undertaken relevant specialist professional development. A successful candidate without specialist training will be expected to complete appropriate specialist training.
