Teacher of Mathematics (0.8 / 4 days)
The Governing Body at Llanwern High School is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to join their strong, forward thinking, and ambitious mathematics department. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team-player, who is able to deliver excellent lessons and build positive relationships. Enthusiasm to contribute to further improving the department is essential, in addition to planning and delivering innovative and engaging lessons for our learners.
The role would suit a newly qualified teacher searching for their first position or an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge in a different context. The successful candidate will be able to teach across all ability ranges, with the ability to teach AS and A Level maths desirable, but not essential.
Llanwern High School is housed in a new building that provides a learning environment and facilities appropriate for a 21st Century school. There are currently 980 pupils on roll but it is envisaged that this will grow significantly in the coming years. The school is currently making positive changes as it strives to provide a first class education for pupils. This is a great time to join our school.
Required as soon as possible, subject to completion of pre-employment and safeguarding checks.
