The successful candidate will be educated to degree or A level in Mathematics, or equivalent, have a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent), hold or be willing to work towards and achieve, a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent, along with commitment to, and evidence of, CPD. To hold Assessor / Verifier Qualifications would also be an advantage but not essential.
Duties of this role include lecturing and training of students and other client groups to quality standards set by the College, alongside tutoring and management of maths courses and groups of students. There will also be a requirement to develop the mathematics curriculum for GCSE and A-Level tuition.
