An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a part- time Teacher to join our Media team at the Joseph Wright Centre.
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated professional who is ready to deliver an outstanding experience to our students.
You will need to have teaching experience in Media or an industry related area and be a forward thinking and innovative teacher with students at the heart of your work.
You will have had experience in planning, designing and delivering remote lessons via Teams or other remote applications.
The successful candidate will also be required to have current practical expertise that encompass moving image and digital production skills, to include photography and moving image digital editing. You must also be able to demonstrate these skills using a variety of Mac based software.
The department offers a range of qualifications that are both vocationally based at levels 1 to 3 and A level. The successful candidate will be required to teach across vocational and academic programmes.
The successful candidate will need to prove that they are highly effective at planning a program of study that has outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and also harnesses the powerful input of employers, enrichment and pastoral elements so that all of our students can reap the benefits of this stimulating industry.
In addition to the requirements detailed above, candidates will need a recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one and achieved a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in maths and English. Please see the job description for more details.
