We have a range of exciting opportunities to join our well-established teacher-training programme. We are particularly interested in applications to teach either Economics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry or Maths.
At KGS we are committed to ensuring that our trainees become the best teacher they can be at KGS and within the teaching profession as a whole, while working with very experienced teachers in hugely successful departments.
The KGS teacher training programme offers a salary whilst you are training and funding towards your PGCE course. This is a two year fixed term contract. In year one you will work towards your PGCE with Buckingham University and in year two you will complete your Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) year while having the support of an experienced mentor usually the Head of Department.
There is also an opportunity to be involved in the cco-curricular life of the school and we particularly welcome applicants who might be able to support any of the following activities Engineering Club, CCF, Community Service or those who are prepared to assist the coaching of Hockey, Rowing, Cricket or Football.
