An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emotional Health, Wellbeing (EHW) Team and the Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) Team for two enthusiastic and committed, suitably qualified, experienced Teaching Assistant to join the teams as soon as possible.
The position will primarily be with the EHW Team; however, there will be an expectation that the newly appointed member of staff will work across both teams – EHW & SLCN.
Successful Applicants will:
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be adaptable, resourceful with a good sense of humour.
• Be highly motivated, able to show initiative.
• Be able to work as a part of a dedicated team.
The successful applicants would work as a part of the Specialist Teaching teams. This role will involve supporting the Achievement and Inclusion Service in meeting its responsibilities to pupils with ALN at all levels of the Graduated Response. The successful candidate would work with all schools across Cardiff to improve the learning outcomes and wellbeing of pupils with Emotional Health, Wellbeing, Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
This post has a requirement for registration with the Education Workforce Council.
