The Governing Body at the Court School are looking to employ a teaching assistant to work at the Court School ASAP. The Court School is a growing special school for primary aged pupils who have statements for Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD).
The successful candidate will:
▪ Be kind and patient
▪ Be a really good listener
▪ Use their initiative
▪ Have the ability to establish successful working relationships with the pupils, acting as a role model
▪ Be able to work independently and to develop child-initiated learning
▪ Be able to work as part of a successful team
▪ Be able to develop positive relationships with all members of the school’s community
▪ Have good literacy and numeracy skills
▪ Be committed to professional development
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
