Our curriculum caters for developing academic and vocational qualifications with developing soft skills to prepare them for the world-of-work.What does the post involve?We are looking for a high-quality Teaching Assistant, who is versatile in wanting to make a difference to our learners, and who can see the good and potential in students and support them to be better. The main role and responsibilities will include the following:· Work under the guidance of the class teacher or other lead professional, in planning and implementing work for individuals, groups of students or the whole class· Support in the management and organisation of the day-to-day operations· Lead on an area of responsibilityWho is our ideal Studio Team member?The ideal applicant should:· be a team player, approachable, confident and have excellent communication skills with staff, pupils, parents and other external visitors as required· demonstrate excellent support skills with different learners, especially to develop our learners who are newly arrived or have limited English skills, either as a qualified Teacher or Teaching Assistant· have experience of working in a secondary or further education setting in supporting learners.What if you are interested in the role?Our staff and students are welcoming and inviting.
