Job Advert: Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Inclusion Team Teaching Assistant
We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who can work within the Inclusion Team, across the Nurture provision to support learners with identified additional learning needs in developing basic skills. The post focuses on class and small group support, and the development of targeted and specific provision identified through Individual Development Plans / Statements of SEN / Education Health Care Plans. Working alongside the Specialist ALN Team and external professionals, there will be a requirement to prepare and modify appropriate resources and ensure effective delivery to secure progress.
Idris Davies School 3 to 18 is fully inclusive and provides for a wide range of learning needs. Currently 21% of the school population is on the register for Additional Learning Needs. The range is from specific through to moderate as well as severe learning difficulties. • Physical and Medical Difficulties.
