Teaching Assistant Level 3 - Sixth Form

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individual to join our team a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for our Sixth Form at Waverley School. The ideal applicant will have experience of working with children within young people and be willing to work as members of enthusiastic and forward thinking teams to ensure learners of all abilities achieve their very best. They should have a good understanding of how children can learn and develop and be able to work confidently with them and with other teachers. Candidates must be able to use their own initiative and be able to communicate confidently and effectively with children, staff and parents. All candidates must have the ability to work within and apply all school policies and it would be advantageous to have knowledge of the SEN code of Practice. Must have Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and a good standard of education including English & Math at Grade GCSE C or above. This is an excellent opportunity for Teaching Assistants to further their experience and contribute to the positive achievement of our children. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role. The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
