This role is based at our Langley College campus; the centre for our main vocational and technical courses including Apprenticeships, Adult Education and HE. We deliver an innovative curriculum with superb specialist facilities including latest industry standard equipment, workshops and studios.
Technical Skills Coach & Trainer (Electrical)
As a Technical Skills Coach and Trainer, you will support and enhance the apprentice and employer experience through effective skills coaching and tutoring for our Electrical Apprenticeship standards.
You will be responsible for supporting your apprentices off the job element through providing training on the knowledge elements of the apprenticeship and conducting Apprenticeship assessment meetings (face-to-face or remotely).
You will ensure timely completion of all Apprenticeship standard elements including skills, knowledge & behaviours, off the job hours, functional skills monitoring and supporting the employer in providing valuable training to their apprentice. The role will require fully preparing apprentices as they work towards the Gateway for End Point Assessment (EPA).
This is an opportunity for a passionate individual who wishes to work in a truly stimulating and rewarding environment. You will be educated to a level 3 or above in the relevant vocational area and hold 18th Edition & AM2/AM2s. You will also need to have previous experience of teaching and working with Electrical apprentices.
