Temporary Learning Coach (Literacy)
27.5 hours per week (term time only) - one year contract
Salary - Grade 8, £27,541p.a. pro rata
Date of commencement: 1st September, 2022
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic dedicated candidate to work as a Literacy Coach. The post will be responsible for the delivery of bespoke literacy support programmes to small groups within Key Stage 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a passion for nurturing, challenging and inspiring children so that all make excellent progress.
• Have the ability and creativity to plan, delivery and adapt a comprehensive intervention programme to small groups of pupils who need support with literacy skills.
• Be suitably qualified for the post; GCSE grade A – C in Mathematics and English (or equivalent), is essential.
• Be computer literate, have good organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Be approachable, patient, calm and value children’s views.
This post may suit someone with primary school training and/or experience.
The successful candidate will be paid on the APT & C Salary Scale - Grade 8 - £27,514 p.a. pro-rata.
