If you’re looking for a career with more meaning, look to teaching. Time to Teach will use your skills to change the lives of children who need it the most.
On our teacher training programme, you’ll work in the schools where you can make the biggest difference. You’ll get a salary and expert training from day one and become a fully qualified teacher at the end of your second year of teaching – all in a school near you.
On Time to Teach, you’ll:
• Train in school – building your knowledge and confidence before taking on your own class
• Earn a salary from day one, even during the summer holidays
• Get support from us, the school and our wider network
• Teach in a school near to you
• Access funded professional development opportunities
• Make a difference to the children who need it most
Become a teacher and help children from disadvantaged backgrounds reach their potential – in school, in work, and in life.
Jack travelled the world for many different jobs before deciding to become a maths teacher. “You get a lot of moments of, ‘I get this now’. I’ve had Christmas cards saying ‘Mr. McGuire, you are my favourite teacher’. It’s just something I never anticipated happening ever, never mind in my first six months of teaching.” Jack is now working towards becoming a headteacher.
