Trainer - Electrical
37 Hours per week, permanent
GBP £22,985 - £25,064 (plus possible access to £3000 retainer payment)
The Engineering Department at Barnsley College provides a dynamic, vibrant and rewarding working environment where your skills will be used to their full potential. We are aiming to recruit dynamic teachers to join our team to deliver outstanding provision to our young people and employers. All of our teaching takes place in well-equipped classrooms and state of the art practical workshops.
The Trainer will be required to manage a caseload of apprentices, working with employers to schedule and undertake assessment and review visits in the workplace. In addition, the assessor will provide workshop training, where appropriate, to apprentices and full-time students.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Trainer with level 3 qualifications in the relevant area and relevant industrial/commercial experience. Key to the role is ensuring that the quality of assessment meets awarding organisation requirements and working in full compliance with the department’s quality systems.
