Internal Trainer Assessor. City Skills Centre. Part Time (29.6 hours per week). Permanent.
As a result of our continued success delivering training to unemployed adults we are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic Trainer Assessor to deliver a range of employability qualifications. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with skills and occupational competence in one or more of the following areas: security, health and safety, first aid, construction, front line customer service or business administration. In addition to any of the above specialisms the successful candidate would be required to deliver employability / personal development qualifications.
The successful applicant will need to have recent experience of delivering these accredited qualifications to our adult learners. This role will involve establishing and maintaining effective training, learning, and assessment activities to accurately record learning.
You will be expected to develop session plans to meet individual learner needs and deliver innovative sessions that motivate some of the most disadvantaged adults. You will need to have a flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet assessment deadlines and timely completion of paperwork.
You will hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in the vocational area along with a Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent). You will need a good level of IT skills to be able to deliver blended or online learning or willingness to acquire the skills will be necessary in view of Covid 19 requirements. A recognised Assessor Award would be beneficial.
