As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, Sandwell College has a large Automotive training provider and are currently looking to appoint an Assessor/Trainer in Body and Paint to join our Automotive department. Reporting into the Head of Section you’ll covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas on a full time, fixed term basis for 12 months.
You will be responsible for the training and assessment of a caseload of learners and ensure that course related documentation is maintained to a high standard. You will observe learners and complete observations of level 2 learners and record work relevant to this qualification.
To be successful, you will hold an NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Body, Paint or a Vehicle Accident qualification. Hold the relevant assessor qualification and also be able to demonstrate your experience of working within the industry. You’ll also hold or will be working towards a D32/33/A1/TAQA qualification. Finally you’ll possess the ability to translate your practice to our learners and have the motivation to inspire them to exceed their goals.
