The Directorate is seeking to appoint a highly-qualified, enthusiastic and flexible Trainer/ Assessor. The successful candidate will join an experienced team of staff and contribute to the development of the Construction,ESOL & Foundation Learning team. The successful candidate will assess and train on a range of courses including Apprenticeships. It is vital that the successful candidate is experienced and qualified to deliver the following Carpentry Qualifications:
• Apprenticeship Standards: Carpentry.
• Carpentry Levels 1, 2 and 3
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding and experience of assessing in a range of Carpentry qualifications.
The Directorate is seeking applications from committed people who are eager to contribute to the development of the Curriculum such as increasing our Employer Responsive provision and developing the success rates of all courses on offer.
The successful candidate will be based at the Erdington skills centre, which is part of James Watt Campus but may be required to teach within other Bmet construction facilities.
