Details of the role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for responding to employer referrals, passing on information, co-ordinating candidate interviews, establishing and maintaining close links between employer, College and candidate. You will co-ordinate, track and ensure the completion of all elements of the Apprentices study programmes, assessing practical skills of candidates both in the workplace and at the College as necessary.
You will assist candidates with compiling portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the examining body on order to ensure full compliance with all College and departmental quality policies and procedures.
This is a full time post for 37 hours per week and is for a fixed term of one year.
Interviews will be held on 27 August 2020 and are currently scheduled to take place via telephone.
You will have a Training Assessment and Quality Assurance Award (TAQA), a D32/D33 or A1 Assessor Awards with TAQA Update, a D34 or V1 Verifiers Award with IQAAPP update and qualifications relevant to your trade.
You will have experience of work based learning and assessment, experience and sound up to date knowledge of assessment issues and experience of working with Key Skills/Functional Skills. You will have proven recent experience and competency in relevant occupational field and experience of facilitating student learning.
