Training Officer in Agriculture Management
Permanent, full time post working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
£20,077 – £23,604 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
25 days holiday entitlement
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Training Officer to join the agriculture team.
The post holder will be working to support the Agricultural Apprentices studying on placements around the county for the the smooth and efficient running of the programme and training within the college. You will be required to:
• Support and deliver practical sessions to learners in agriculture
• Complete H&S visits with employers.
• Deliver on the agriculture reviews as part of the work based learning provision.
• Participate in the development of short courses throughout the year.
We require you to hold at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area and have previous industry experience. Experience of working with livestock is a key requirement of this role.
You will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
