As one of the largest sixth form colleges in London (more than 2,500 students), we are a non-selective, diverse and secular college, proud to have launched over 50,000 young people onto university, training and employment since we were founded in 1992. We have an exciting new post within student services for a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Manager, offering an exciting opportunity to lead on operational safeguarding and wellbeing at our thriving, inclusive sixth form college. The successful candidate will co-ordinate and further develop our safeguarding and wellbeing work. They will be the College’s operational safeguarding lead and therefore must have the resilience, expertise and leadership skills required for such a role. The ability to manage risk and to make critical judgements in a timely manner is key. You will also have a thorough understanding of the needs of young people, adolescent safeguarding issues and contextual safeguarding.
