Work Placement Assessor – Childcare - Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone - Ebbw Vale
18.5 Hours per Week – Term Time
The School of Care at the Blaenau Gwent Leaning Zone looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Work Placement Assessor to join the team.
Our Childcare learners have work placements in a range of appropriate settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation, planning and co-ordination of placement assessments, including health and safety.
Working to meet the quality and administrative demands of the College and awarding body, you will be asked to implement systems to monitor and record student progress towards the achievement of placement requirements and provide evidence of satisfactory completion.
Candidates must hold a relevant Occupational Competence qualification above Level 3, and be able to travel as required to fulfil the requirements of the role. Well organised, punctual and learner focussed, you will have the ability to work effectively and meet deadlines.
The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
