About the role:
You will be responsible for supporting learners enrolled BTEC Level 1, 2 & 3 Health and Social Courses to prepare for and secure an appropriate work placement opportunity. You will identify suitable placement opportunities, complete the necessary Health and Safety checks, and monitor and support the learner in the completion of their work experience aspect of their Study Programme. This will involve working with both employers and learners, tracking attendance patterns, logging of work completed, and collating all required reports, references and timesheets.
With appropriate experience, most probably within the fields of recruitment, employer liaison, placement procurement or employer engagement, you will have a passion for working with 16-19 year olds, and a strong desire to help out learners develop the skills they need in order to progress into either employment or further studies. You will be able to draw upon a wealth of experience of engaging with local employers to secure the best possible placements within, youth or support related settings.
