Would you like to work with a skilled team of professional people that are committed to developing the next generation of Electricians? Do you want to help shape the way young people are educated in trade skills?
The Electrical Installation team are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to help budding Electricians begin their journey. As a member of our dedicated delivery team, you will be involved in teaching, assessing, producing innovative content, and supporting future developments.
An ideal candidate for the Instructor post would be able to deliver and assess at least one of the following:
theoretical side of the qualifications (e.g. maths, electrical and electronic principles, mechanical principles)
academic side of the industry (e.g. understanding regulations, running a business, health and safety)
trade practical skills
The Workshop Instructors will provide practical assistance to the curriculum staff and support students to develop their practical skills in the workshop. They will also co-ordinate and shape the electrical installation workshop environment. This is an opportunity to pass on your knowledge to those starting on their Electrician journey, and help Loughborough College remain at the forefront of industry practices. Specific experience in electrical installation will be advantageous.

Teaching and/or mentoring experience would be advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidates.
If you are unsure about committing to these types of roles full-time, then the team would welcome applications from those who would prefer to work on a fractional basis (a few days a week).
