Hub Officer – Fixed term until 31st August 2025
Grade 5 (£20,092-£20,903)
Pen Y Bryn School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Hub Officer, partly funded by the Welsh Rugby Union.
The Hub Officer will primarily be required to promote and develop physical activity through a multi-sport approach in curriculum time, and to establish extra-curricular activity which engages boys and girls of all abilities within a fully inclusive rugby programme – including development as coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers, as well as participants with established links to all activities within the WRU Regional Disability Hub Structure
The successful candidate will work across the area linking into feeder primary school and creating positive rugby links. The candidate must show experience of Directing staff and volunteers to assist in delivery of sessions. You will represent the values of the WRU through your work and link into community settings including but not inclusive to the local Inclusive Community Club and Ospreys Wheelchair Rugby. Experience of working successfully with children and young people with a Disability is an advantage, You will report agreed participation and growth targets and provide objective and accurate key performance indicators and qualitative reports by agreed deadlines to the Stakeholder management group.
