Interview Process

We aim to make the interview process as positive an experience as we possibly can.  The type of selection method used will depend on the vacancy that you have applied for.  All interviews will consist of a panel, which will include the Line Manager/Head of School, and where appropriate some other form of assessment e.g. presentation or work related exercise.

All candidates will be asked to bring with them the following documents:

  • A completed DBS Application Form
  • Original Identification Documents i.e. passport, driving licence and birth certificate (required under Section 8 of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 and for the purpose of completing DBS Check)
  • Original Qualification Certificates

All documentation and information obtained will be kept in line with the Data Protection Act.  This information is only retained for the successful candidate.  All documents supplied by unsuccessful candidates will be shredded.

The interview letter will advise you of where the interview is to take place.  If you require directions to the necessary campus please go to our campuses section on our website and download the relevant map.

Every effort will be made to meet your needs. Particular care will be taken to ensure that candidates with disabilities have the support and facilities they need at interview.
