Work Placement Officer
St Albans Campus
Part Time Monday and Friday - 14 hours a week
£8,751 per annum – Salary pro rata from £23,030 per annum

A Work Placement Officer is required to take a lead on liaising both internally and externally with organisations that provide work experience placements for our learners. As part of your role you will be providing support for students, and organisational support relating to work experience placements, employability sessions and employer forums within each academic year.

Part of the role will include facilitate students to ensure they are adequately prepared for work experience, visits or other employer activities. Maintain and build on employer forums in vocational curriculum areas within the college.

The successful candidate will have 2 years’ experience in recruitment/customer service related role and a good standard of education, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with young people with Learning Difficulties/ Disabilities.
