Working for Us

Our Culture  We work hard to be experts in education recruitment and pride ourselves on our teams collaboratively working on business solutions. To find out more about our culture – why not learn more about some of our teams.

About our Teams

Our Teams

Finance - Influencing in all sorts of ways

Our Finance team creates the environment for effective financial performance and control, there's a great deal involved. As well as processing transactions and maintaining accounting records for efficient month-end reporting, the Finance team puts effective controls in place for financial management and operations. Finance’s commercial insights are also instrumental. They help us develop strategies and plans to address the complex and challenging issues we face in an ever-changing business environment.

Sales & Customer Service - Turning fledgling relationships into flourishing ones

Our Sales team has one mission: to become trusted advisors to our clients. To do that they marry what we do well with what our clients need. In short, they build relationships that go above and beyond the normal business-client dynamic. The result? A better deal all round.

Of course, their achievements are measured in profit, so making smart commercial decisions and planning ways to boost revenue are hugely important. However, the success of the team isn’t solely due to our commercial drive – although increasing our client base is certainly a big part of it. What really makes the team successful are strong partnerships they forge and maintain. These relationships need to be built on expertise, on raising the bar on individual and team contributions, and, of course, on generating an environment for fresh ideas to flourish.

Marketing - Giving us the edge

Marketing’s main goal is to ensure customers stay loyal to our brands and entice new ones to use us.  Budgets are strict so every pound has to work hard. And that's where sharp, creative thinking comes in. Plus the ability to get it right first time. It's vital to keep updating our knowledge of competitors and customers and to clearly understand the kind of marketing that really works. So we make a point of sharing experiences and best practice. Quite simply, Marketing helps us do a better job than our competitors.

IT – Driving Productivity & Capability

Our Information Technology team is on a never ending journey of systems and software development. Its aim to successfully partner the business to achieve top-level performance, innovation and growth while remaining connected to business strategy is imperative to our future success. Our ability to deliver new innovation and commercial solutions across the Education and Compliance sectors leaves us well positioned to ensure we are right at the forefront of our business. We are constantly piloting new and different technologies to ensure we stay ahead of the game

Ascot 2015

Every year eteach offers its staff an opportunity to go on an exciting summer day out and this year was no different!

This year on 25th July 2015 Ascot was infiltrated by eteach staff dressed up to the nines and ready for a thoroughly fabulous day out.

We started the Ascot invasion with a buffet lunch and drinks at the fabulous Rocksalt venue which is well known for its cocktails before moving on to the main event and heading to the Premier Enclosure at the races!

Here novice racegoers rubbed shoulders with those with more experience (those who had been once before with eteach) and all shared tips on the horses.

A few hours (and pounds spent) later when the last race had finished we all headed back to Rocksalt for cocktail hour and to party the night away!

Poppy Planting at The Tower of London

Eteach are always trying to find new ways to help the community and as a part of that we have decided that one of our main objectives will be to give more to charity by donating both time and money to worthwhile causes.

Poppy Planting

On 7th August 2014 a team of 11 eteach staff descended on the Tower of London to help plant some of the 888,246 ceramic poppies, each one beautifully handmade and unique in the studio of artist Paul Cummins.

We started the day by being introduced to our instructor for the day a very friendly Beefeater called Jim Duncan who took us through how the poppies were made and how we were to put them together.

We were then taken into the Moat at the Tower of London and after being introduced to our Team Leader we started to assemble the  poppies. It was a very poignant experience being in the moat as we were aware that for every poppy that we planted it was representing a fallen soldier and that although there was already a sea of poppies there were still so many more to go.

The work was hard and intricate but by the end of the day everyone felt as though they had achieved something monumental – we worked out that we had made and planted over 1000 poppies on our four hour shift.

You can see some of the comments made by Team Tower below:

“We should all be very proud of ourselves to be able to say, we were part of this wonderful tribute to our fallen heroes” – Barbara Burford

“A very emotional experience particularly when you appreciate that each poppy represents a soldier killed defending our Country.   It was a privilege to be involved in such a project and when I receive my ceramic poppy It will always evoke a sense of pride.” – Melanie Curle

“I felt privileged to be part of something so wonderful. It required lots of hard work but was so rewarding and the sense of achievement was profound when we walked through the thousands of poppies already planted” – Joseph Birss

“I am so grateful to both the organisers and eteach for allowing me to be a part of this experience. It was very emotional and will be something I will never forget.” – Lauren Chew

"A truly inspiring day that will live long in the memory. It was a privilege to be able to help in a small way in honouring the many thousands who sacrificed their lives 100 years ago. It was also a great way to spend time with the team and work together to produce part of an amazing spectacle." - Dan Churchward

We will of course be taking up many more charity opportunities here at eteach so stay tuned to see how we get on!

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning - eteach

On 26th September eteach took part in The World's Biggest Coffee Morning which is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest charity fundraising event. After a whole day of eating cake (and the resulting sugar crash) eteach raised a yummy £280 to help change the lives of people affected by cancer.

Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. And as treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. The money we helped raise at our coffee morning will help make sure no one has to face cancer alone, from the moment they’re diagnosed, through treatment and beyond.

Eteach are proud to have raised hundreds of £’s for the much needed charity, not to mention pounds on our waistline’s!
