An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Newtown Linford Primary School as an Assistant Premises Officer on a permanent basis for 10 hours per week.

This is a key role within the school community, ensuring that the environment is safe, secure, and well-maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.


As an Assistant Premises Officer, you will;

• Site maintenance and safety: carry out routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of the school, buildings, grounds and equipment.

• Compliance and Security: ensure the site meets health and safety standards, manage statutory checks and maintain security of the premises

• Contractor Liaison: oversee external contractors onsite to ensure work is completed adequality

The ideal candidate will:

• Have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in numeracy and literacy

• Have knowledge of health & safety issues, including COSHH

• Have experience in a school setting and experience with trade skills, e.g plumber/electrician

• Have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise workload

• Have the ability to undertake a range of basic repairs and maintenance tasks
