An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Stafford Leys Primary School as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a fixed term basis until August 2026.

The HLTA is responsible for providing support to our pupils and teachers within the school to provide a high quality provision. The successful candidate will predominantly teach whole classes of children but the role will also involve supporting children in smaller groups, or on a 1:1 basis, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

This role is a rewarding one with the successful candidate having the opportunity to gain more experience in the classroom and work with a supportive team.

This is an excellent time to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Stafford Leys Primary School, as we continue to work collaboratively to deliver a high quality education and meaningful experiences to our children and young people. Everyone has a significant part to play and you can find out more about working for the Trust by taking a look at our Candidate Information Pack.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold the HLTA qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to study for the HLTA qualification with the support of the school

• Have experience in a classroom environment

• Have experience of supporting SEND in an educational setting

• Have the motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team

• Have good literacy and numeracy skills

• Have the ability to contribute to the progression of learning

In return we offer:

• Opportunities to work across the partnership, developing your skills and expertise

• The opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and share knowledge and resources

• Access to our professional networks and professional development programmes

• Access to our Bradgate Benefits package (see Candidate Information Pack).
