An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Arboriculture to teach on our Arboriculture subjects. These include a Level 1 course for introduction to arboriculture, Level 2 course for intermediate arboriculture and a Level 3 course for advanced arboriculture management.

The Lecturer in Arboriculture will be responsible for teaching and assessing Arboriculture subjects, including tree felling, climbing, cross cutting, woodland management, pest and disease and machine operations and maintenance.

The post holder will provide high quality teaching on the College’s Arboricultural courses and ensure the effective learning of students being taught. This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students.
