Salary: £9,851.60-£10,904.80pa salary for unqualified Lecturer. £11,505.20-£15,180.80pa salary for qualified Lecturers. Salaries inclusive of London Weighting and based on Teaching and Learning grade

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer in Horticulture with specialist knowledge of study courses awarded by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

The successful candidate will be delivering and assessing both theoretical and practical courses that are prepared and developed in accordance with RHS awarding body policies and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge, understanding and experience in delivering RHS teaching and learning programmes to students studying on these highly popular courses.

They will take responsibility for learner progress, monitoring & tracking, individual learning plans (ILP); holding regular tutorials and providing specialist advice and guidance relating to RHS requirements and developments.

They will support curriculum planning & development within the School, as required, alongside research for and production of course materials to meet the needs of all learners.

They will liaise with horticulture practical instructors, technicians and internal staff with regard to the provision of practical learner activities and ensure that all requirements and regulations relating to health and safety are adhered to at all times.
