We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Hairdressing Lecturer to join our vibrant Hair and Beauty team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop the next generation of hair professionals, delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of hairdressing programmes.

You will plan and deliver innovative lessons, assess learner progress, and support students to achieve their qualifications while developing the professional skills required for a successful career in the hairdressing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment across Hairdressing programmes.

Develop and maintain high-quality learning resources and schemes of work.

Assess learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Support students to achieve their full potential and progress into employment or further study.

Maintain excellent standards of health and safety within practical salon environments.

Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.

Build and maintain positive relationships with employers and industry partners.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

A recognised Level 3 Hairdressing qualification or above.

Recent and relevant industry experience within the hairdressing sector.

A passion for teaching and developing others.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).


Hours: 29.6 hours per week 

Salary: £31,363 per annum (Qualified Teacher Status/equivalent Level 5)
