Due to the retirement of the current potholder we are now seeking a driven, innovative and passionate individual to join our Finance Team. The College is forward thinking, dynamic and determined to make a difference, and is seeking a like-minded individual who can work with the Director of Finance & Estates to support and lead the finances of the College. The College is at a point of reviewing its operations in order to deliver sustainable efficiencies whilst ensuring continued growth and excellence and we are looking for the right person to work with our Leadership team to deliver this.

As Associate Director (Finance), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the College, contributing to its financial strategy, financial planning and long term success.

Who are we looking for?

  • You will be a Finance professional (CIPFA/CIMA/FCA/ACA/ACCA) with experience of operating at a senior level,
  • You will have a wide and extensive experience of budgetary and financial management within an FE setting
  • You will have experience of working with, and influencing, senior management
  • You will have a good understanding of the current FE sector, including funding rules and environment
  • You will have the strength and quality of leadership and personal skills required to develop and lead an effective and motivated team
  • You will be able to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex issues, with a proven ability to quickly grasp and respond to a complex and changing environment
  • You will be commercially astute in the development and delivery of the College’s objectives
