The role:

To work alongside the Payroll Officer to use the College’s integrated payroll system for the accurate and efficient payment of salaries and wages to all staff in compliance with the conditions of service, statutory legislation (for tax, national insurance and other deductions) and pension scheme rules (LGPS and TPS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Payroll Officer to process the monthly payroll and produce management information
  • Process monthly payroll amendments (SW3) in the payroll system
  • Prepare calculations for maternity, paternity and adoption pay
  • Process sickness amendments in to the payroll

 About you:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent in relevant area i.e. A-Level / Diploma
  • Level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification
  • Proven track record of working within an administrative role.
  • Knowledge of GDPR.
