Widden Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience working within a primary school setting
- Demonstrates excellent teaching, behaviour management and classroom practice
- Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Uses assessment effectively to support pupil progress
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Shares our values of Aspire, Believe and Succeed
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
As a Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
