We are looking to recruit 2 permanent Teaching Assistants with effect from 1st September 2026.

Crown Wood Primary School has an exciting opportunity for 2 committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for versatile professionals who are able and willing to work across the whole primary setting.

1x Teaching Assistant, (initially in upper KS2) 

1x Teaching Assistant (initially in Nursery/ EYFS)

31.25 Hours p/w, term time only Grade: K-J Scale Points: 3-6

The post is for 31.25 hours (8.30am – 3.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch), term time only. The post will include lunchtime support. The post is available on a fixed term basis subject to all relevant checks, referenced and successful probation period.

We are looking for someone who:

May have ambitions to qualify as a teacher in the future.

Good levels of literacy and numeracy.

Relevant qualifications and / or experience of working with children.

Keen to learn.

Flexible, resilient and resourceful.
