Additional Learning Support (ALS) Administrator

Location: St Vincent College or Richard Taunton Sixth Form College

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Salary: Support Scale Spine Point 25 (£27,731)

Contract: Permanent

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme

Make a Difference in Student Support

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic Additional Learning Support Administrator to join our dedicated team, providing vital administrative support that enables specialist staff to focus on direct student interventions.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and maintain accurate records for Additional Learning Support, including High Needs funding and Exam Access Arrangements.

• Manage data entry and reporting in our Management Information System (MIS).

• Schedule and organise assessments, support sessions, and meetings for students and staff.

• Liaise with local authorities, curriculum teams, and external partners to ensure seamless support for students.

• Provide general administrative support to the ALS team, including correspondence, minute-taking, and resource management.

• Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection standards at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• GCSEs (A-C/9-4) in English and Maths (or equivalent).

• Proven experience in administration, ideally within education or SEND/ALS settings.

• Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and database management.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.

• A positive, flexible team player committed to inclusivity and student support.
