The Lighthouse Learning Trust is seeking an exceptional Employer Engagement Team Leader to drive forward our partnerships with local, regional, and national employers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, shaping strategy, and creating meaningful opportunities for young people.
This is a full-time (37 hours), term time +2 weeks (41 weeks) position.
Salary: LLT Management Scale Spine Point 1 - £35,394 FTE, £31,922 Actual


About the Role

As the Employer Engagement Team Leader, you will lead a small, dynamic team responsible for developing and sustaining high impact employer partnerships. Your work will directly influence the quality of supported internships, work experience, industry placements and employer led curriculum activity across the Trust.

You will be the strategic connector between education and industry—spotting opportunities, nurturing relationships, and ensuring employers see Lighthouse Learning Trust as a partner of choice.


Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for employer engagement creating opportunities for the trust to work with employers.  

• Secure work experience opportunities for learners.  

• Secure T Level and other industry placements, overseeing coordination and quality assuring placements.  

• Lead, develop and grow Supported Internships.  

• Build and maintain strong employer relationships. 

• Ensure high-quality employability outcomes for learners, ensuring alignment with curriculum needs and local labour market intelligence. 

• Monitor KPI's and track employer activity, reporting impact
