Principal's Welcome

Thank you for your interest in Morley College London.

Founded in 1889, we are one of the UK’s leading centres for adult education. Morley is best known for music and the visual arts, with over 13,000 students studying with us each year.

Our convenient central London location is right on the boundary of the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. We are close to Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Station and so are really well-placed to serve the learning needs of Londoners, as well as commuters able to travel easily to the College.

Morley is all about the joy of learning and the positive impact successful learning has in bringing out personal potential, restoring self-belief and creating new opportunity. The Morley staff team are specialists in adult education, with considerable subject expertise in the Arts, Culture and Applied Sciences.

In addition to over sixty areas of study Morley provides an exceptional range of enrichment opportunities for students and the wider community, maintaining a high profile programme of performances and events, including public exhibitions at the Morley Gallery.

Whether studying for personal development and well-being, to gain essential skills (English, Maths, IT), to access higher education, or for career development or change, our vision at Morley is for our students' ambitions to be inspired and achieved through learning.

Thank you again for your interest. I look forward to welcoming you to Morley College London.
