You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of Education and Early Years courses, including provision from Level 3 through to Level 6. This will include teaching and assessing FdA, Access to Higher Education and NCFE programmes, supporting learners to achieve their goals and progress into further study, higher education or employment.

As part of the role, you will plan engaging and inclusive learning, develop high-quality course materials, assess students’ work in line with awarding body requirements, and provide academic and pastoral support through tutorials and progress reviews. You will also contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement activity, student recruitment and the ongoing review of programme performance.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our North Kensington Centre; evening work will be required on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

About you

You will be a committed and student-focused educator with experience of teaching Education and Early Years programmes to a diverse range of learners, including adults and 16–18-year-olds.

You will hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and an appropriate teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, DTLLS or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. You will have experience of delivering and assessing Early Years provision up to Level 6, with familiarity of FdA, Access to HE and NCFE courses.

You will be confident in planning and delivering inclusive, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of learners with different abilities, backgrounds and aspirations. You will have strong assessment, organisational and communication skills, alongside the ability to use digital technologies creatively to enhance teaching, learning and online delivery.
