About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring and committed Lecturer in Humanities (Psychology and Sociology) to join our team at Morley College London. Based at our North Kensington Centre, this role will primarily focus on delivering high-quality Psychology and Sociology teaching across a range of programmes, supporting learners to develop the knowledge, critical thinking and practical skills needed for progression to higher education, employment and further study. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about teaching, learning and student success. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, student recruitment, pastoral support and quality enhancement, working collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, engaging and learner-centred environment where students from diverse backgrounds can thrive.

About you

You will be a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology and Sociology practitioner with experience of delivering high-quality teaching that inspires, challenges and motivates learners to achieve their full potential. You will have a strong understanding of your subject areas and be able to support students from a wide range of backgrounds, guiding them towards successful progression into higher education, further study or employment. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will be committed to inclusive teaching, safeguarding, student wellbeing and maintaining high standards of achievement. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, embrace digital innovation in teaching and learning, and be enthusiastic about contributing to a vibrant and ambitious Humanities curriculum.
