Part time / Full time Lecturers in Public Services

up to £33,909 p.a. (pro rata if part time)

We would like to hear from applicants with relevant industry experience, particularly in Policing/Prison Service, Criminology, and Law who will excel within our high quality facilities on our green belt campus.

You will have the ability to teach both practical and theoretical aspects through classroom based teaching as well as practical skills development. You will be required to work as part of a motivated and dedicated team, committed to supporting students’ well-being and achievement.

Nescot has a long and proud history of teaching young people who want to enter the public services or pursue higher education in disciplines such as law and criminology. A rare opportunity has arisen for an exemplary individual to join our dedicated and talented team.

Successful candidates should have previous experience delivering vocational programmes at Further and Higher Education, such as Entry to the Uniformed Services and Extended Diploma in Uniformed Protective Services to young people at levels 3 to 5. You may also have the opportunity to help develop our higher education provision up to level 6.

Our students benefit from an excellent range of facilities, which many of our staff also make the most of. These include a multi-use games area; extensive grass pitches; fully equipped gym; full-size sports hall.

The ability to inspire students to reach their full potential and a commitment to the provision of high quality teaching and learning are essential. Candidates should be innovative and pro-active in their approach to working with students and have a commitment to further training and development as new initiatives evolve.
