The Governors of Ysgol Gelli Aur / Golden Grove School are looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective teacher for September 2026. We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who has a passion for children's learning and strives for the highest of standards.
Working under the direction of the Head Teacher/ Deputy Head Teacher, you will be covering leadership release time, cover for part-time teachers and some PPA cover. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented practitioner who enjoys the variety of working across all primary age ranges and is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
We are looking for someone who:
is a dynamic and adaptable teacher with the ability to teach across all primary phases
has high expectations of both the learners and themselves
has a high-quality teaching ability and recognise the importance of developing every child's potential
has the ability to inspire and build on high standards of pastoral care
has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team
can use their initiative and work collaboratively within a team
has the ability to confidently teach Welsh as a Second Language.
